Friends of Woodlands (FoW) was established in 2013 with the objectives:-
-
“to advance the education of the learners at Woodlands School in all eight curricular areas”, and,
-
“to provide and assist in the provision of facilities [not required to be provided by the local education authority] for education at the school.”
The charity also exists “for the public benefit to promote the education (including social and physical training) of people [under the age of 18 years] in the Currie area in such ways as the charity trustees think fit……”
FoW is a registered charity (Charity number SC043958) with key information also available for inspection with the Scottish Charity regulator (OSCR) at this site (https://www.oscr.org.uk/)
